Find your flow

So, I was out on a run, and to be honest I wasn't my best. I was feeling the drinks I had the night before and had to get the miles in. So, I stopped to take a break and instead of standing still, I started Shadowboxing. Sometimes I stop to do this when I need a attitude adjustment. And sure enough after a couple of rounds with a dope view. Needless to say, I finished my run strong.

Shadow boxing is one of THE most helpful boxing drills period. It is not an accident that the boxing world makes it fundamental basis for training. "But Alvin, I feel like I look stupid!" Yeah, meet too! That's why I practice! How do you know what you look like, if you don't know what you look like?! It's a great way to check your form. Connect what you feel to what you see!

The 80|20 Tip: Start with building a small 3-5 punch combination with 2-3 defensive moves after and repeat. Once it feels good, add or change something else.

80|20 Example: 1 move, then 1-2 move again, then 1-2-3 move, and finally 1-2-3-6 move then start over.

Just like anything else we have to practice something to get better at it. Put in the time and you see the result.
